Пиша Ви по повод плановете на управляващото България мнозинство от ГЕРБ да промени български закон, така че да се де-инкриминират нарушения на фирмата "Юлен" АД, извършени при изграждане на ски писти в Пирин планина.
При тези строителни дейности "Юлен" заема 65 хектара гори над разрешеното, близо 2/3 повече от първоначално договорената концесия.
Днес, вместо санкции, управляващата партия ГЕРБ планира да промени законите, така че деянието на "Юлен" да бъде оправдано със задна дата.
Моля за Вашата енергична намеса против създаването на подобен срамен и недопустим прецедент за целия Европейски Сьюз.
Вече отправих подобна молба към Комисаря по екологията Янез Поточник, и бях уверен, че сигналът ни е взет предвид. Бих искал да се уверя, че европейските институции са добре информирани и активни, когато става дума за интересите на всички ни и когато става дума за подобни закононарушения и обезпокоителни тенденции. Затова се обръщам към Вас с молба и Вие лично да се ангажирате с този юридически и морален казус.
Надявам се, с Вашата и на комисаря Поточник подкрепа да спечелим още една победа в защита на европейската природа!

Please kindly note that the Commission is monitoring the application of relevant EU legislation in Bulgaria. In this regard, we would like to refer to the answer provided by the Commission to a parliamentary question on this issue. In particular, it is stated that: "the Commission has initiated an infringement procedure against Bulgaria for bad application of Directive 92/43/EEC of 21 May 1992 on the conservation of natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora (Habitats Directive)(1), and Directive 85/337/EEC on the assessment of the effects of certain public and private projects on the environment (EIA Directive)(2) with regard to a number of ski resort - related projects and activities in the Pirin Mountain. "
